Ieva Duo - Track 01

Ieva is a classically trained piano and singing teacher, choir conductor and Musical Director based in Norfolk. Her broad musical background and cross-continental training allows her to work across contemporary, pop, musical theatre and classical styles.
Ieva’s formal piano training began at the age of seven. She went on to study singing and choral conducting at a Lithuanian Conservatory from the age of thirteen and performed across Europe throughout her teenage years. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with a BA in General Music Education and Choral Conducting, before completing her MA in Education. During her postgraduate studies, Ieva took part in an international exchange programme at Birmingham City University, which led her to settle in the UK.
Since relocating, Ieva has established her own music studio, where she offers piano and singing lessons, and works as a singing and piano teacher in Norfolk high schools. She is the Musical Director and Conductor of Bel Sonus Choir, as well as Choirmaster of Invidia Voices Rock & Soul Choir.
In addition to her teaching and conducting work, Ieva is a Trustee for Choirs and Norfolk County Music Festival and is committed to ongoing professional development.
A key part of Ieva’s teaching philosophy is creating opportunities for students to perform and grow in confidence. She organises two student showcases each year, giving both singing and piano students the chance to share their progress in a supportive and celebratory performance setting.
Ieva is a fantastic music teacher. She is very knowledgeable and inspires you to improve by giving you confidence to try. Ieva leads two choirs that I’m involved with and is highly regarded by members as she makes the sessions fun and educational. I totally recommend her.
